Lost Dog

Last night my dog Nelson ran away. It wasn't really that he was my dog, or that his name was Nelson. But ever since he first snuck on to my property, he's been my best friend.
One night I went out to feed the chickens, I had 30, and Nelson was in there playing with them. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. He stuck around, and I was never happier. My parents hadn't allowed me to have a dog "They were cat people!"
We didn't have a dog house, so I let him stay in the chicken coup. I thought they got along so well. And with 30 chickens I didn't notice any missing at first. Some of them must have been getting jealous because one would dissappear every night. These fuckers were running away.
Nelson was being rejected by his animal peers. Sure he couldn't lay eggs, but he was as big a part of the family as those damn hens were. He was an even bigger part than the cat, in my mind.
"Fluffels, fluffels, here kitty kitty." That annoyed the fuck out of me. Every morning my parents would wake me up talking to that fuckin cat. The damn thing rubbed against their legs, and pounced on their laps for love. "Give me kisses baby, give me kisses!" Disgusting. Stupid cat wouldn't come with in arms reach of me.
But I had a dog now, so I didn't care. My parents didn't know about Nelson, I made sure to keep him hidden. I had always taken care of the chickens, so I knew they wouldn't check in the coup. They did, however, grow suspicious when the egg supply grew visibly decreased. To which they DID check on the chickens.
They screamed at me for hours about hiding Nelson from them. They said I needed to get rid of him, and replace the chickens that ran away. I was pretty attached to Nelson, so instead I tied him up to a tree in the field behind my house. It was only a week before my parents discovered he was still around. After a stern talk we agreed they would call Animal Control in the morning, that way I could say good bye, but he was not allowed on the property.
The sun was setting, I wouldn't have much time to say good bye to my best friend. So after they went to sleep I snuck him to my room. We went to bed cuddling, it was the most relaxing rest I have ever had. When I awoke my parents were no where to be found.
They must have found out I let Nelson in, then they left out of anger. Firt the chickens now my parents? Every things running away from me. They even took their cat. Well that last part isn't so bad, but thats beside the point. At least I still had Nelson. And if he got to sleep inside, maybe the chickens would stop leaving. The following morning blew that theory out of the water.
The damn things kept running away. One by one every night, untill the night before last when they were all gone. It was just me and Nelson. When I woke up this morning Nelson was missing. He was the closest pet I've ever had, and every thing else in my life had left me. When I found out he ran away my heart sank. I will post a few pics of him.

Description

Large grey and white, possibly husky or malimute, maybe a mix. Kind silver eyes, and the sweetest expression on his face. He is about waste height on the average person (I'm 5'9). I haven't weighed him, but if I had to guess I would say around 90 pounds.

Reward for Return

Nelson loves taking pictures. If spotted try holding up your phone or camera, he will most likely approach you. He is great with other animals, and I believe he will interact with your dog or cat (If you happen to be walking them at the time you see Nelson). I'm offering a decent reward for his return, that of which is negotiable with in reason. Please contact me with any information.

The more people that know, the faster he will be brought back to me. Please spread the word. Until he's found I dont know how I will be able to go to sleep.
Thank you.
